Whitehall Tennis Club is a proud and long-established community tennis club based on the borders of Chingford & Highams Park. For generations we have welcomed individuals and families who share a love of tennis staying active and being part of a friendly local community.
Our club is built on inclusivity enjoyment and connection. Whether you are an experienced match player looking to compete in league tennis, a returning player keen to rediscover the game or a complete beginner picking up a racket for the first time you will find a genuine home at Whitehall.
We are known locally for our welcoming atmosphere, vibrant membership and strong community spirit. Many of our members have grown up at the club while others have joined recently through coaching, social events or recommendations from friends. What unites everyone is a shared love of tennis and the feeling that Whitehall is more than just a place to play it is a place to belong.

Tennis Coaching for All Ages and Abilities
Whitehall Tennis Club offers high quality tennis coaching for juniors and adults across all ability levels. Our coaching programme is designed to build confidence improve skills and most importantly foster a lifelong enjoyment of the game. Junior coaching takes place every Saturday morning. Sessions are grouped by age and ability to ensure each child receives the right level of support, challenge and encouragement.
We understand that joining a new sports club can feel daunting especially for children and parents new to tennis. That is why we permit your child to attend on a pay as you go basis for their first term such that they can experience the club and the coaching environment within their group before committing to a block of classes. This allows families to feel confident that Whitehall is the right fit.

Membership at Whitehall Tennis Club
Our members are the heart of Whitehall Tennis Club. We are proud to be a club where long-standing members play alongside those who have only just joined creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone
We offer a range of membership options including junior, adult, family and introductory packages. Our introductory membership is ideal for new players or those returning to tennis allowing you to experience the club for your first year and see if Whitehall is the right fit for you.
Membership provides access to our courts team tennis, coaching opportunities, social events and a supportive community that genuinely looks out for one another. Access to courts team play coaching and certain club events is determined by your chosen membership type ensuring fairness and availability for all members.
